Yes. Dealforts is platform-agnostic — you can verify sellers from any social media platform. Whether the deal started on Instagram DMs, a WhatsApp group, or a TikTok live, just send the seller's details to the Dealforts bot and we'll check them regardless of where the conversation happened.

Googling only surfaces publicly indexed information, which most scammers carefully manage. Dealforts cross-references community-submitted reports, behavioural patterns, and known scam tactics that never appear in search results. A scammer with a clean Google presence may already be flagged 14 times in our database.

No. Reports are anonymous by default. Your name, email, and contact details are never visible to the public or to the person you're reporting. They are only accessible to the Dealforts review team if follow-up is needed, and only if you chose to provide them.

Your report enters our review pipeline where it's analysed for accuracy and cross-referenced against existing reports. If the details match known patterns or other submissions, the account gets flagged. You'll receive a notification when your report has been reviewed. The full process typically takes up to 48 hours.

Absolutely — and we encourage it. Some of the most valuable reports come from people who spotted the warning signs early and didn't go through with the transaction. Your report could be the one that protects someone who wasn't as cautious.

Yes. There's no time limit on submissions. Older reports are still valuable because they help us identify serial scammers who change platforms and usernames over time. Include as much detail as you remember — even partial information helps.

You can dispute any report made against you. Once notified of a flag, you'll have the option to submit a dispute with your explanation and supporting evidence. Our review team will assess both sides independently. If the dispute is upheld, the flag is removed and your record is cleared. False reporting is taken seriously and repeat offenders are removed from the platform.

Seller verification is coming soon. Verified sellers will receive a trust badge visible to anyone who checks their profile through Dealforts. The process will involve identity confirmation and a review of transaction history. Join the community to be notified when verification launches.

Yes. Reporting scams, checking sellers, and joining the community are all completely free. There are no hidden fees or setup costs. A premium plan with advanced features is planned for the future, but the core protection tools will always remain free.
