Dealforts ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information. By using Dealforts, you agree to the practices described here.

Dealforts is operated by Morphlith and is accessible via dealforts.com and our bot integrations on WhatsApp, Telegram, and Facebook Messenger.

Information you provide directly:

•Name and email address (when you join the waitlist, create an account, or contact support)

•Report submissions including descriptions, evidence files, and scammer details

•Transaction information when using our escrow service

•Payment information (processed securely by third-party payment providers — we do not store card details)

Information collected automatically:

•Device type, browser, and operating system

•IP address and approximate location

•Pages visited and actions taken on the platform

•Bot interaction logs (messages sent to the Dealforts bot)

Information from third parties:

•Platform data when you connect a social media account for verification purposes

We use your information to:

•Process and review scam reports submitted to the platform

•Operate the escrow service and facilitate secure transactions

•Deliver bot verification responses via WhatsApp, Telegram, and Messenger

•Send transactional notifications (report status updates, escrow confirmations)

•Improve platform safety through pattern analysis and fraud detection

•Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests from authorities

•Send product updates if you have opted in (you can unsubscribe at any time)

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Ever.

When you submit a scam report, your personal details are never published publicly. Only the outcome of a review — whether an account is flagged or cleared — is visible to the community.

Your contact information is only accessible to the Dealforts review team, and only when follow-up on your report is required. If you did not provide contact details, your report is fully anonymous.

Report data (scammer details, descriptions, evidence) is retained to maintain the integrity of our fraud database. You may request removal of a report you submitted by contacting hi@dealforts.com.

When you use our escrow service, transaction records including buyer and seller details, amounts, and dispute history are retained for a minimum of 7 years to comply with financial regulations applicable in Nigeria, the United Kingdom, Ghana, and the United States.

Payment processing is handled by regulated third-party providers. We share only the minimum necessary information with these providers to complete transactions.

We share your data only in the following circumstances:

•**Service providers:** Payment processors, cloud hosting providers, and analytics tools that help us operate the platform. All are bound by data processing agreements.

•**Law enforcement:** When required by law, court order, or to prevent fraud, harm, or illegal activity.

•**Dispute resolution:** Relevant transaction data may be shared between buyers and sellers involved in an active escrow dispute.

•**Business transfers:** In the event of a merger or acquisition, your data may be transferred to the successor entity under the same privacy protections.

•**Account data:** Retained for the duration of your account plus 30 days after deletion

•**Scam reports:** Retained indefinitely to maintain fraud database integrity, unless you request removal

•**Escrow records:** Retained for 7 years for regulatory compliance

•**Bot interaction logs:** Retained for 90 days, then anonymised

•**Marketing preferences:** Retained until you unsubscribe

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

•Access the personal data we hold about you

•Correct inaccurate or incomplete data

•Request deletion of your data (see our Data Deletion page)

•Object to or restrict certain types of processing

•Data portability — receive your data in a structured format

•Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent

Dealforts is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal data, we will delete it promptly.
